Hi everyone,
I'm just wondering if there are ever any LF get togethers in the Devon area???
I often walk Molly out on Dartmoor and we're forever visiting the lovely woodlands and beaches in Devon. I'm relatively new to the area so I don't know other people with labradors yet. It'd be great to tag along to a Devon meet up, or of course to set one up if there are willing participants.
last time i was down we took the boys for a walk up the River Dart and picked up some little beasties!
And they had a whale of a time at exmouth and Broad sands
Might be coming down 'in season' next time so will need recommendations of some beaches that don't ban dogs during the summer season

We're in Devon, in Tavistock so kinda the other side of the moor. I'm not around much atm due to uni but mum is and could potentially bring Theo to a GT but very much depends on when/where etc...
Just saw this link in another thread and realised I totally forgot to reply to you midst all my uni work.
But yeh basically Theo loves socialising so loves GT's, I wouldn't be able to do much on the arranging front unless I'm home or know what the plans are at home, but can relay info between here and mum and let you know when's best for her If it's during my holidays I can bring the little monster with or without mum depending on her work!
At the moment for off lead walks we need to avoid areas with a lot of livestock as Theo isn't the best behaved around them... Mum and Dad are working on that atm - he does still go on the moor often we just have to keep an eye on where sheep/cows/ponies are and steer clear of them! He loves anything water related tho and enjoyed his first trip to the beach earlier this year
Also just so you know don't worry about including Goldie - He'l be 15 this month so isn't up for the excitement of meeting other dogs now and would much rather his normal stroll up the road.
I'll keep you posted! I'm still hoping a few more Devon folk will surface in time.
I'd love Molly to meet some water lovin' labs. She dips in and out of rivers and the sea; and she does like a splash, but only goes in for a proper swim when I go in too. I'm sure if other doggies did it, she'd follow straight away.
