He looks very much like my Golden and he is the same age. Logie also occasionally runs off too on a chase. With him the maximum he has been gone is an hour but he always returns to the place where we last seen him. Is there someone keeping an eye on that area?

No sign of him at Chillesford and Butley - I asked everyone there to keep an eye out and spred the word. Also it might be worth informing Pampered Pets down the road as she is the one that takes in the strays/found dogs around here (you might already have done this, though)...
