Well I originally ordered one of the XXL and one of the large but the XXL really was absolutely massive and just too big for my living room. I've sold it now and replaced it with another of the large size.
My pics are of the large beds and they are a decent size. If you have plenty of space for where you want the bed to go, the XXL is probably better for 2 dogs.

They look really happy in them, glad someone asked about the size as I've been wondering, Meg and Mole don't snuggle, so looks like a large is the size to get
