Pleased to see Trace's post about the rubber inserts because I actually threw all mine away. They looked just about ideal for swallowing and choking on to me Shocked .

Never had a problem with our inserts, all in place 3 years in and several moves later - but then mine don't move the beds daily.
I suppose you could super glue them in?

Mine are just little things an inch long buy a 1/4 wideon 2 of the beds, but the ones on the PAH beds are round like 10p and so yes probably a hazard if they come off.

pets at home near us do two sorts. I brought the ones that weren't pets at home own. Not sure on what brand they are - not at home to check. But mine is tougher looking thicker and more textured surface than their own brand.
Ask for the feet if the bed doesn't have then attached in little plastic bag. Our store keeps them behind the counter or else they all go missing. All have stayed on the bottom of the bed and are still in place Smile

Thanks Sam - that must be why I have 2 different sorts from PAH, as you say one is defintely better made than the other.

Jill, in fact we don't even waste the effort in putting them in anymore when I buy new ones in ......of course mine are moved and washed each time a new dog comes in or goes home, so they do get more wear than the average household dog bed!!
