personally i would want £7,000 of cover - as it does go towards possible referral/treatment costs at a specialist centre. £4,500 is not too bad - but it could go over this amount. Certainly £2,500 cover (as some policies are) can soon be spent.

i have one of mine with M & S and moved my oldie to Axa. Axa were brilliant when they underwrote M & S.........
I've had years of not claiming - but on the one dog who had huge costs- thank heavens for the peace of mind of insurance.
obviously depends on how many dogs you have - but with just two i wouldn't be without insurance.
