You'll have to blame the handler for choosing a bitch in the first place Laughing

Such a bummer to 'lose' out on top spot because of bladder control - have to work on that one now Laughing

Was this the Pennine Training Area of the Northern Golden Retriever Association, Andrew?
If so, my Mum's cousin has just emailed me saying that her pup, Evie won the large Trophy for the Highest Placed Golden Retriever Puppy plus a Certificate of Merit, and her older bitch won Novice Dog/Novice Handler, and she has emailed me the photos.
It's a small Ol' Khaki World eh?!!!

Hi, I am new to this forum, I have enjoyed many of the interesting threads particularly about training and field trial related topics.

I was competing at the PTA at Strines today and thoroughly enjoyed the day, the icing on the cake was getting second in the puppy Laughing Laughing Laughing Scored 20, 20, 20, 18 just pipped in the run off so delighted with my pup as he is only 10 months.

Lowforge Ailsa ran extremely well, deserved to win, such a shame she lost the marks for peeing.

Lovely day, great tests, great atmosphere and even the heavy showers didn't seem to spoil the day.
