I very nearly went with M&S but got the same policy for a wee bitty cheaper with Greenbee (John Lewis) underwritten by AXA. So for Bracken I'm £12 something per month for lifetime cover up to £7k per year. I posted the policy wording document the other week if you wanted to have a gander at it. The similar M&S policy was £7 more expensive per month for me. I think it comes down to postcodes though. I know someone else is with M&S and pays £12 per month, and someone else who got a quote from Greenbee at about £26 per month - neither (incl me) had ever made any claims.

thanks, I'll have a browse through the posts. To be honest, all my quotes come out pretty expensive, even ones that are supposed to be 'cheaper' - I must live in a really bad postcode Rolling Eyes

Have a look at Axa insurance - we managed to get a really good price for my 10 year old Westie.

Having a London postcode doesn't help - I know from past experience !!

I wonder why my excess is so high?

I think it will be living in London - vet fees are that much higher. I live in a London suburb and my excess is £90 atm - so suspect it will go up to £100 when it comes up for renewal.
