No not at all John, but I do think that from a competition point of view you have more idea of what is expected and what you are trying to achieve with the next dog.
Absolutely no reason why you shouldn't do just fine with Rowan though!

Only joking Matt!! I know exactly what you mean.
Rowan and I will definitely have a go at a novice test or two in the future, it really is great fun. I don’t think we will ever get that serious about it, because the dedication necessary is impressive. Rowan was always destined to be my first peg dog; home trained, and in that regard she is doing OK. A bit of a diversion from the test report thread, but I’m very pleased with Rowan, she’s getting to the age where a close bond is forming with me and I very much value her company, she’s a great dog.
As for Acer, she is my wife’s dog, so if I want to do better by the next dog, then I need to start studying pedigrees again. Which brings me to another consequence of taking your dogs more seriously – escalating dog numbers!!
John

HOW exciting John Lovely that you've given this a go and seem to be bitten by the bug now - easilly done . Sounds a very credible first test and might I say a MUCH better score than my first attempt. Well done
