Thats the same situation I'm in but i keep trying Very Happy
I have a dog walker/sitter lined up for the newbie until they get used to the routine and I will have my lunch hour as well. I've not been successful yet with any rescue I have approached (obviously Embarassed ) but I'm sure persistance will pay off at some point. I'm not going to give up anyway. Max's buddy will be along when it all comes together Very Happy

Paula it is so frustrating when you have a loving home waiting. Annie is not yet two and she is in a good routine sleeping until I get home at 12.45 and then from 2pm until 5pm. Like you I will get there also.
