My friend is getting a black Lab next week, She is rescue him from a family that had twin babies and doesnt have time for him anymore!! Evil or Very Mad Cant they make time!! Anyways! Hes 1 years old and my friend has had labs before, died last year!! She is so upset that he doesnt even have a name!! Evil or Very Mad Im so pleased that she is taking him on! If i ever see that family, ill asked them WHY!!
and asked me what to call him!! i have no idea! i dont have a photo of him! and im so shocked that they have a 1 year Lab that doesnt have a name!! Evil or Very Mad but im sure he will fit in well. She has a lot of time for him as she works from home part time! Very Happy and she is looking forward to giving him a forever home!
She is going to sign up on LF!! Laughing YAY!
But for now she is searching for a name!! I like BERTIE but she isnt sure!
Any ideas!??

Just a another thought!! Wouldnt it be really hard for A 1 year old to learn his name! She is taking him to one to one lessons! so she can training him! I like thoose names!
I think she is going to have her work cut out but its goign to be fun for her! her BF is in the RAF so i will give her some company etc! Very Happy
Cant wait to meet him next week/week after!

It won't be too difficult for the dog to learn its name esp if its rewarded by praise /food/contact everytime he responds to the name.

i'm sure she'll find a name once he's home. she might want to try a few names to see which he responds well to.
