Mr Richard Clarke at Clarke & Marshall in Berkhamstead, Herts. When we left Hemel to live in St Albans we moved to a vet there and had an awful experience so went back to Mr Clarke and are still there even though it is a reasonable way from us now. He gives you all the time you need, answers all our silly questions and had done wonderful surgery on our old girls as well as put them to sleep with so much dignity and compassion. When we got our 2 new girlies we would not have considered using anyone else!

These are my vets. http://www.parksidevets.com/index.php Have been fantastic with Pasco and his elbow surgery. Offer 24hour care and we have needed to use them at odd times of the day, they are always there! Appointments always available around work schedules. Just all around fab!

Just found this website and 'find a vet' facility.

I found very useful so although not a vet recommendation I thought someone looking for a vet (like me!) might find it useful.

The explanations of qualifications and terminology and general what to expect has been useful to me who has only ever visited a UK vets to have hamsters PTS when a child!

We agree with this, Doron has been fantastic with our two older labs, including seeing Tussell over the Rainbow Bridge (I wouldnt have let any one else do that special thing for him) and is now looking after our new addition Marley!

The Oak Vet Practice Haverfordwest. Leighton Richards and ALL his staff are really really brilliant. They have branch surgerys around here and the staff rotate and work at each branch. The Vet Hospital in Haverfordwest is excellent. From Leighton down to the reception staff ALL lovely caring people. We have been with them for 17yrs now, from rats to cats to dogs!! Very Happy

For an orthopaedic specialist I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Graham Oliver at Buckley House in Hucknall, Notts.

They are also an ordinary vets practice but I have had no dealings with that part, but Graham really is 'Mr Miracle Man' Laughing Laughing

The nurses are fantastic, as are the receptionists who never get fed up with me ringing several times a day (and out of hours too Laughing )

I am with Wendy on this one, this guy has given my puppy a new lease of life and tha'ts only after one operation, be no stopping him once hes had the other one. Graham is amazing and the show for concern is so high and the care level the same.

dominic plumley at aln northumbria or fairmoor as it was called is a fantastic vet he is a very hands on vet with a ex manor at explaining whats up. Dom always treats you dog or other animal as if it was his own. Iwould recommend this surgery to anyone who lives in northumberland. My last lab had cancer on his paw and dominic was going to drive to cambridge for bens treatment and thats the other end of the country.
