Yes. It agree. Insurance certainly is necessary! Simply likely at us, on dogs, expenses not so greater. And the prices for service minimal! I think, at us not everyone will be capable to pay 600 $ for insurance of an animal. I understand that in your country all much more in a civilized way, than at us. But you give the lion's share from the income on strange things.
Forgive! I so have got that it is a question of insurance of animals in your country? At you it is a compulsory procedure or at will? Simply in sew to the country it not necessarily.
It is voluntary. It is not compulsory to have pet insurance in the UK.
I've had pet insurance policies that I've cancelled midway through the year, however it often tends to be the case that if you've made a claim you have to stay with them for the rest of the year.

When I cancelled insurance on my old car they refunded me minus and "admin fee", not sure how much it was though, probably depends on the ins co as to what they do

When I had a horse insured and he was put down (due to a condition he was not covered for) they cancelled the remaining payments. I think most of them say you are committed to the 12 months but some will consider individual cases.
