hi

my pups called zak, he is 4 months old, hes fairly good and is learning really fast and can be let off the lead and is very controlled. however he wont stop peeing inside.
he will ask to go out, we let him out. then the next 3 pees he just pees on the floor....i dont understand why? hes learnt he needs to go outside so why doesnt he do it all the time:?

we have good days where he doesnt all day and is good and asks then the next day he never asks.
our routine is the same everyday, so its not that.

Any ideas? x

I would take him outside after every play, feed and sleep if possible and then praise like mad when he goes and maybe give him a yummy treat too when he gets it right

What are you cleaning up the wee's with? I use simple solution dirt and stain remover which is fab or you can use biological washing powder in a solution to clean up. it will get rid of any lingering scent that may be causing him to pee in the shame spot.

hope that helps Very Happy

Hi
thanks for the advice, we take him outside constantly, and everytime he does something outside he gets a puppy treat and i play ball with him. and inside its all in different spots so i cant understand it as i clean it up properly with stuff recommended. its a tricky one. hes trained at my partners place where he works but just not at home.
i have noticed though he wont go outside in the rain to maybe if it stopped raining he might learn. lol
