Ian, can I pass your details on to a friend? My caravan site owner has a gorgeous black lab and is very keen to pursue gundog training. He's been out on a shoot before - from working lines, but no formal training as yet.
Ian would love to start Tess on gundog training, watched you at Scone very impressive, but she is nearly 3 in September and is not a jumper would rather go through or under, is it too late for her to start????

Hi Lynne,
Tess is only three so in my opinion it is not too late. But that really depends on you, not me. You may have to change certain things that you do on a daily basis, and sometimes old habits are hard to break. I wouldn't worry about getting a dog to jump, that's one of the easy lessons to teach.
There are no advanced dogs coming to the training day. I will cover all the basics, and remember its about watching and learning, so you can teach your dog at a later date.
