Dawn - I cant seem to post on doglost but as a recommendation I thought some flyers at Ardleigh boot sale might be a good idea ? I know its 10 miles from where he vanished but there are always massive of dogs there on sundays and they would be hitting a massive audience. Just an idea ?

laura i will pass your suggestions on thankyou xx to post on doglost you have to be registered and signed in then above the comments there is an add a comment button click on that and type your message in the box............then click update and your message should be added to the posts. thanks again for taking the time to help thumpers owners xx

I am a member but my laptop and pc crash everytime I try to add a comment ?? Grrrrr Im possibly going to be going to Ardleigh on Sunday now so if poss Dawn could you arrange for the poster to be emailed to me? Id be more than happy to take some with me. I will pm you my email address. Thanks you

mac computers i know have probs with doglost site sometimes Confused

latest from doglost THUMPER IS HOME!!! Text just received from Wendy....seems 'the system' didn't quite work here one way or another. He was at the RSPCA in Braintree, after having been found in Romford abandoned 7 days ago (not sure how long he'd been at RSPCA). He had been declared a stray and was in the vets about to be neutered when the vet scanned him and found his chip. Going to speak to Wendy to find out more details, but she's no doubt ringing round everyone at the mo with the good news! I am so thrilled for Wendy and family (and Thumper!) who worked so hard and THANK YOU to all the wonderful DL helpers who really have done a great job helping not sure if Thumper had been at the RSPCA since found or whether maybe he'd just been transferred there for rehoming. If found in Romford and reported to that council, stray dogs wouldn't normally go to the RSPCA Braintree....maybe he was reported to another council. As soon as I have more details from Wendy will let you know. Either way, you'd have hoped whichever dog warden/kennels he came into contact with him in the last 7 days would have scanned him.....but sadly this is not compulsory (although most I'm aware of in Essex do), something 'Dolly's Directive' with the support of Doglost is trying to change.
