Hi again,
Just gone onto my online account and noticed they have already set up the payments to come out, so i can also make sure that no money leaves my account by cancelling from this end.
I am a little mad about this has the 1st payment should not even come out for about another 3 weeks or so, i wounder what they actually mean by no obligation, i myself always though that it meant nothing would happen until my say so, so i guess it is up to the ones who took the 6 weeks free to cancel well in advance but strangely enough i have not noticed anything saying this in the paperwork i have received.
Could we have a sticky for the 6 weeks free insurance to alert others that you don't have to leave bank details just hit the cancel,
I am now going to make the telephone call and to write a letter, hope i have no problems with this.
Thanks

Yes it does - BUT as per my post above, cancel the bank account screen, and the policy activates anyway - maybe this needs a sticky for all new owners - because people are clearly being caught out. |
I think that would be a great idea. Without knowing that, it looks as if the bank details are compulsory. If I had know I hadn't had to provide them I would have done it. Fortunately we insured him from his 8 week birthday and are now beyond the 14 day exclusion period.

Hi,
I have emailed the Kennel Club to cancel the free insurance, and have received a response to say that it will be done at the end of the six weeks free. I email info@kennelclub-petinsurance.co.uk but the reply came from info@agriapet.co.uk, so I guess either of these would work.
