Hi All
Ness has kindly offered to organise Hilbre Island for us on August but i'm thinking that is much too long to wait for our next one so we should squeeze in another in between.
How does everybody fancy something mid-July? I'm thinking either formby - a combination of the pinewoods and the beach or we could do part of the sefton coastal walk (no real swimming opportunities though)
Any takers?

No swimming at Formby?? I am dissappointed, I just figured with it being the coast...
It's been on my 'to walk' list for a while.

sorry lou my post wasnt clear - of course there is swimming at formby on the beach but if we did the sefton coastal walk there isnt really any clear swimming opportunities. Formby is probably our best bet, last time we went sydney was a pup in arms and jasmine was diddy so we didnt really do a proper walk.

I'm not sure where I will be or what I will be up to - but if I'm around then I may well be interested....

I'm up for it if I'm around. I'm available 27/28 June, 4/5 July, 25/26 July, and then the August dates on the Hilbre thread. If these dates are the only ones which others can do, don't worry about me! (I'll sulk though )

4th July is good for me Shirley and not too far away How is it for everybody else.
Harriet I couldnt do the walk beforehand as it would be too far for Sydney pup but we can arrange a meeting spot if anyone else wants to do it.
I'm thinking maybe a 45 minunte ish walk through the woods (the pups should be fine this now) followed by a meander along the beach. Can check the tide times so that we dont have to walk too far out for swimming.
