He have sold literally hundreds of Red Dingo (and other makes) collars which have the 'snap' catch and can say hand on heart we have not had any problems with the catches. This is even on dogs we know to be pullers and the collars have not let us down.

You just can't beat Red Dingo.

I'm sorry Lesley.....but it was a Red Dingo that snapped on me Confused . I hadn't bought it from your site, so you weren't to know.

Maybe I just had the Lemon, as Pood had only ever worn it out, it wasn't chewed or anything like that and she was only about 5kgs then. It just snapped when she bounced forwards one day. Thankfully I was in the middle of a field and not by the roadside.

Here is what it looked like......

I prefer buckles, especially if they are swimming. Collars tend to stretch when wet and with a buckle it is easy to tighten but with a snap it is a lot of fluffing around especially when the collars are wet!

Madison always wore a buckle collar, well when we went out as she never wore one in the house or garden.

I've just order Alfie's collar and leash, and i';ve gone for the red dingo ones as they are so cute, can;t wait for them too arrive and then i need to wait for Alfie.....lol

Lottie has a lovely red Red Dingo collar with paws on and we've had no problems at all.She does also have a slip lead not a regular lead so the collar is never really pulled. The Red Dingo quality is brilliant. In fact,I'm going to order 3 more.A new one for Lottie and 2 for her sisters.Just trying to decide on which colours!!!

It's snap ones for me every time, simply because they're so adjustable. There's nothing worse than having a collar that's too tight on one hole and too slack on the next. Plus they're so easy to put on.
