Can anyone foster a 2 year old entire male golden retriever cross lab. He is ok with other dogs but can be a bit possessive so ideally no young children around. He has been "stranded" at the vets and needs out before weekend.

we are picking this lovely boy up tomorrow from the Vets and taking him to kennels , sadly we can't foster him but if anyone can let lilylab know I'm happy to drop him off to someone if LRRSE agrees. This boy has had a hard time through no fault of his own would be wonderful if someone could help him

There are a couple of potential homes who will be going to see this dog in the kennels, so fingers crossed for him he will find a new home before too long. The kennels are closer to them so easier to travel.

He hasnt done anything wrong and deserves a forever home soon.

Thanks for the PM's but the trustees decided that if he is in kennels then the potential homes can see him without too much disruption to a foster homes plans for the coming busy holiday week.

Sadly the homes for this lad didnt work out but he is now in a new foster home.

I spoke to his new foster home today and he had settled well and enjoying the company again.

Fingers crossed a new home is just around the corner.

Vicky wanted this boy orginally, even with a pup!`i have a pup and a 5yr old but have lots of time to train him! let me know asap if he needs a more perminant home x
