Okay where do I start Murphy from about 16 weeks old has had the runs on and off we have a super vet, first treated him for infections(samenella), then they thought compo, then colitis, and then diabetes, and worms so I really reccomend getting a few blood tests very expensive but worth knowing whats wrong with the dog
He was tested for samenella, pancreas, malsorbation, irritable bowl diabetes and food allergies

We have fed Murphy on JAB and practically every dog food on the market has one of group of foods he is allergic to

Now had the vet consult, and he says go on a BARF diet with oats and maize, he can have carrots, fruit and veggies for treats plus ham . Unfortunately he is allergic to chicken, he can have turkey or pork

Pork is not toxic for dogs, you freeze it to get rid of the worms, and keep him wormed on a regular basis

We can get pork bones raw as long as the butcher removes the discs

The vet swears by a home cooked diet he said dogs did not evolve eating rice and wheat and more dogs are getting allergies especially to beef and lamb. We have to give him a pet tab every day for the rest of his life so he gets any missed vitamins, but that is not a requirement thats me worrying.

Thanks everyone if you know a good online supplier of BARF meats I would apreciate it

Penny and Murphy

Well I have contacted the Wafcol team and they are sending me out some samples.

Cross fingers, also off to the vets to discuss some other medical tests that may give us a definate answer about his problem. This, in my opinion, has been going on for too long!

Cheers
Alex
