Sorry, not a Lab, but another heartbreaking story of a stolen dog, so hope it's ok to post this here. The dog was stolen from Wallsend, North Tyneside (NE28 area I believe).

Doglost link is now working - Link.

There's info here though:
http://www.freewebs.com/travellingtearaways/stolenlostfounddoglaw.htm

Message on there from Gem's owner:

"My dog was snatched from me while I was taking her for a walk, the man was a stocky build middle aged and the woman looked in her 30's by the look of her eye's as she had her coat hood up and she wore a mask across her mouth so she could not be identified.

I think they had been watching my moves when I or my husband had been taking her for walks.

We are both devastated as this is the second dog we have lost in two months, the other dog was a Border Collie but he died through medical reasons.
Please find my beautiful Gem.
Kate

Gem is a 2 year old Border Collie female. She was wearing a pink collar.
She was snatched on the 7th May 2009 on the field at the back of the house. SHE IS MICROCHIPPED AND CAN BE IDENTIFIED.

PLEASE CROSSPOST THIS TO AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE, AND ON FACEBOOKS, TWITTER, CBs etc.

THANK YOU"

Edited to add doglost link

Just giving this another bump. From reading the owner's post on doglost the people they think are involved are from Berkshire and the dog could end up in Carmarthenshire.

Absolute ******** the people that took her. Apparently there was a car waiting at the bottom of the track and the thieves chucked her in and sped off.

Crying or Very sad

Please crosspost. This dog needs to be found safely and reunited with her family.

That sounds horrific, why did they take her like that? I hope she's found safe and well soon.

Poor dog....

It does sound as though it could be complicated and more to this than can be said on dog lost

Does anyone know whereabouts in Berkshire the previous owners live????

Yes, it does sound complex.

I have a friend at doglost, but I don't know whereabouts in Berks, sorry - sounds as though she might end up in Wales.

Would just be great to get the word out there and hope that someone knows where the dog is and will come forward.

Heartbreaking Crying or Very sad
