Well I have dwelled about this for many months now, and I simply don't have the time nowadays to spend on the site, its heart rending as obviously the site has special meaning for Julie and I, but she too thinks that atm under our direction the site isn't really reaching its full potential.

The site has grown beyond our wildest dreams to be THE Labrador website but now with the birth of our second daughter recently we are finding we have less and less time to do anything lol

Because Furbabies is so tightly integrated in with LF and because I don't have time for it I am selling them both together so its a ready made business with a good monthly income

A few facts for you:

LF Has 15,000+ members
it gets roughly 50,000 unique visitors per month

The sale would include the domain names, the websites themselves and the stock for Furbabies

Obviously LF has subscriptions as an income and advertising banners / google ad words apart from the Furbabies whole pet shop setup

I am in no big rush to sell the sites, but just want to try and find a suitable candidate to take them on and then get the process kick started and commence handover as it will take a lot of hard work to get it moved on.

Me too Natalie. It's all a bit worrying, because to me this is the best dog site on the net, in the way it is used by people from all areas, including pet, work and show, and also some from working trials, obedience and agility, and in the main in a non confrontational way. Smile

OK, we get the occasional argument, but life is like that, and it doesn't happen very often.

So sorry to hear you'll be moving on Shocked

but as a parent of 3 (1 hairy) there never seem to be enough hours in the day so completely understand.
Really hope the format stays the same, couldn't do without LF I dont think!!
