Hi All, After a long day at work I get home, sit down to the computer and Dave starts sending messages about the server sending out huge amounts of spam etc etc etc (so much for the relaxing evening!). We tracked this down to someone who had broken into another website on this server and had managed to start sending a huge amount of spam email out bringing the server to it's knee's. The list we found that they had uploaded had over 38000 email addresses in it! It WASN'T a list of members email addresses that were used so no need to panic. Needless to say we have fixed the problem that allowed them to gain access and removed (hopefully) all trace of what they did and stopped the bulk email going out. There is one thing though... the server was brought to it's knee's but it didn't actually crash which is a good thing! Stuart
