I was just wondering how spring training is going for everyone? Do let us all know, good, bad, labs, spaniels etc! Wink

With Honey in season I spent this afternoon at my main training area with Rowan, throwing caution to the wind and launching dummies deep into thick woodland. Shocked I was using the hard launcher dummies in the hope that they wouldn’t get caught up in the trees and you know what, I got them all back. Very Happy

I wouldn’t have swapped that woodland for anywhere today, it was beautiful.

beautiful photo. love bluebells Very Happy

my training has been on hold for a while due to KC but managed to get the boys out into a friends field today. Unfortunately the grass crop has sprung up lots in the last week and hence we just did some basics. Nearly lost my ball on a rope toy down a ditch but coal was determined and pushed his way through all the brambles! bless him Very Happy
Finn did well apart from the evil thistles in the set asides Rolling Eyes

Rowan's certainly a good looking chap, he looks like he scented something, or doesn't like the smell of the purple flowers.

We are not the only ones Spring Training!!

Heelwork, duck style

My main aim at the moment is to try and keep the wheels on this young lady. Oona is blessed with a hair trigger, chases birds, bees, butterflies, anything that moves, I'm trying, slowly but surely, to get her completely focused on me, we are making progress, but it's slow.

My big achievement this week, has been to get her to "hup", for a whole 10 seconds Laughing Laughing

And some of you think you've got problems with Labradors!!!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
