I hope it's ok to put this here as Holly is not a Lab, but she's in urgent need of a permanent foster home and you never know who might read this, or maybe an LFer will have family or friends who would be right for Holly flower

************

Holly is a 14 year old crossbreed, who suffers from separation anxiety and can't be left for more than a very short time without becoming distressed. She is quite physically frail, and is also having senior 'absent moments' when she will stare at the wall and forget where she is momentarily. Despite her problems, Holly is a sweet-natured affectionate little girl who loves people and is happy to potter round and sleep in her bed a lot of the day.

Sadly because of her frailty Holly has become scared of the livelier dogs in her current foster home and seems worried about being bumped or knocked. She's now having to be separated from the other dogs, which she is finding quite distressing as she loves their company most of the time. With this in mind, we think Holly would be happiest overall with without the worry of living with younger energetic dogs.

We urgently need to find Holly a permanent foster home in a quiet environment with no children, cats or boisterous dogs, and with someone around all or most of the time. She'd love the company of another gentle older dog.

Holly will remain an Oldies Club sponsor dog with all her veterinary expenses covered for the rest of her life.

Holly's full details are on our website here: http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=5639

If you can offer Holly a safe, quiet environment where she can enjoy the rest of her life please contact us on 08445 868656 or e-mail rehome@oldies.org.uk.

I have emailed a good friend who shares her home with the husband and 18 year old Abby x breed. I will speak to them tomorrow and see if they can find some more room on the sofa for this GORGEOUS girl. Fingers crossed xxx
