We have had a call from LRSE&C, possibly a young bitch that we can go and meet next week, fingers crossed.[/quote]

It's a no on this one, she has not been spayed yet and our Alfie is intact.

Sorry Andy you have got me confused. I thought you said you are going to see a dog from LRSE&C. Which I wished you good luck. Now you mention LRRSE. is a no go because the bitch is not neutered. Confused Confused Confused keep us updated. regards Meg

If you are prepared to drive up to the west end of the M4 in Wales, there is an ex-breeding bitch aged around 4, yellow girl called Libby at Lizzie's Barn. Fionna who runs this rescue tells me there are other lab girls expected to arrive, yellow and black.

Fionna likes prospective adopters to come and meet the dog as well as having a homecheck done. All her dogs are neutered before being rehomed. Libby has been there or a while now. Her number is 07976 538588

I also know of a 5 yr old called Suzy at another rescue in Wales not far from me (which may or may not be closing down in April, difficult situation) but don't know if she is spayed, can find out more. Very friendly girl I am told.

Can't you pay to get her spayed? If you have been waiting so long, then surely a short time longer won't be a problem?

She has not had a season yet, and it was agreed that we should let this one go.

I have looked at the website, but cannot find any Labs, also it's nearly 270 miles.
