It has come to my attention that I have missed out an extrememly warm and fuzzy moment, and indeed it was all that and more...

I certainly won't ever, ever forget the day they came to visit her at my house. There were many tears of joy shed and a pup who's tail never stopped wagging at her new Mum and for that matter still hasn't. Joined at the hip those two, and it's wonderful to see.
Lastly and I hope you don't mind me sharing this as I do know I bang on a bit but this photo below is probably my most cherished photo ever.
I had just arrived home with Bert and our new rescue dog Barney who we had collected from his foster home. I pulled up, opened the car doors and I swear I had never seen a more happy dog than Barney to be home, at last. This was taken at that moment and it still makes me go all gooey:

You really couldn't imagine a better life for a dog than at Auntie Helen's. (I had a few moments of worry when M-M came home that she wouldn't like it as much here but thankfully she does
