While you are in the mood to contact people, why not contact some of the people that failed to renew subs and ask them why? Also, why not take a sample of those that have subscribed and not converted to full memership and ask them why. They will be the ones to let you know!

I don't post very often, but I come on just about every day and find it a place full of information, interst and humour which takes me away from the stresses of work and daily routine chores. I enjoy reading about other people's dogs and I have found the way the site is set up the easiest and most attractive of all I have tried. I don't think £10 a year is too much to pay and will willingly renew for the pleasure LF gives. Long may it continue.

I have updated this to reflect new changes and make it easier to understand differences between each tier of membership

I have also upped the size limit on avatars by 25% for subscribers

I have removed an interim page when subscribing to make it easier so it goes straight to this page now:http://www.labradorforums.co.uk/subs.html

I have emailed some traders on LF and already 3 companies have offered a discount Smile

I have also emailed Burns as we used to have a deal with them to offer money off vouchers so will let you know what comes of that

I have updated the nav menu to hopefully make it easier to use

I am now going to contact insurance companies to try and get a few discounts from them Wink

Dave while you are tweaking can you fix the search box please It is a white box and when you type into it the type must be white too as you can not see it....have had a problem with this since you tweaked the colours Sad

I have to say that LF is excellent the way it is. Never really had any problems, find people ever so friendly and when posting with a problem/query always look out for a couple of the long standing members (not going to mention names) replies regardless of if it's what I want to hear or not.

Discount schemes are always an added bonus, of course they are but personally I joined to find out about the possible health outcome of our last dog Jet. Ok so the answers weren't all what I wanted to hear but they were honest replies and that's what we needed. Since then, I get here as much as I can, post when I can. If I could offer discount to LF members here in the shop, I would, unfortunately margins don't allow for that.

Here's to LF whichever way it goes forward, an all round nice place to be. Warts and all.
