Crying or Very sad Had an email this morning from Ambers owners still no news but thankyou so much for bumping this up ...

Hopefully between us here on LF and Dogslost and my very good pals who are quietly helping behind the scenes ( Thankyou 3p for the added info which i passed on Wink ) and with everything crossed Here's hoping Amber will be home asap

i'm sorry it's not good news Crying or Very sad
i have copied this from doglost

I am sorry to say that we have had a phone call this morning that we have been dreading. A farm worker called having seen one of our posters to say that railway workers asked for access across his farmland to mainline railway track in order to remove a dog's body last Thursday 26th March. He said that it was a beautiful looking golden dog that had been electrocuted on the third live rail system we have here in the south. The farm he works on is no more than two miles from Stansted Park where Amber ran away from us. We are trying to obtain some sort of confirmation from the railway authorities, and will post any confirmation if it is forthcoming as soon as we can.

Thank you all again for your thoughts and helpful suggestions, although this time it looks as if there will be no happy reunion.
