Hello
We have a black Lab and have been looking for some type of collar that we can use on late walks that may light up so that Cody is visible.

We bought a light that attached to his collar but it fell apart on the first walk so something robust would be great.

Anyone got any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks

Ruby had a light that attached to her collar and it dropped in a puddle after about 10 min.

I have seen a lot of light up collars but was worried she might break them as shes a puller so i bought her a halo which doesn't attach to her collar just hangs around her neck ( i tend to thread it through the loop on her collar just so it don't fall off)

It lights up all the way around and is a constant light rather than a flashing one so makes her much easier to see!

If we are walking down the country lanes very late at night i also take her wear a little hi vis jacket i bought her as there is no pavement.

I have a yellow reflective collar for Wicca. It's a bit like the safety jackets or armabands you get for kids. It's fab and very bright when a light shines on it. It cost a couple of pounds from the local pet shop and you can put it on as well as the normal collar.

Mole has one of these and they are brilliant as long as you have a torch or there's a light around Very Happy

I had a blue collar and lead with a reflective silver strip from Tesco a couple of months ago. They are very visable after dark and didn't cost much at all I don't think.

Hi guys,

Thanks a lot for the suggestions.

I am really looking for something that actually lights up.
My hubby walks him along an old dissused railway line and it is very dark along there at night!
Cody tends to run off in to the bushes whilst on the walk, he always comes back to the whistle but he is impossible to see against the trees.

Some kind of flashing LED collar as JODYSMUM suggested is what we are looking for i think.

Many thanks all
