Rufus has what the vet thinks is a histiocytoma on his head. It's been there for about two weeks but I didn't panic as he had one on his leg about a month ago and that went away of its own accord. Trouble is he keeps knocking the one on his head and making it bleed.
Any ideas? He does run through hedges on his walks. I may need to take him somewhere else for a while. Would a plaster help, I'm not sure it would stay on with his fur. It doesn't bother him. He never tries to scratch it.
Another question? The vet said they are common in young dogs, is he likely to keep getting them? Are they caused by a reaction to a small break in his skin. He is a very active dog.
Poor thing. It is right in the middle of his forehead. It looks like a religious red mark. Spoils his handsome looks.

Tough one, plasters don't stick unfortunately, and right in the middle of his forehead is an awkward place as they do like to use their heads for opening things and getting your attention.
I don't really know what to suggest, will go away and have a think about it for you
