Oh heck...now I'm in a dither....right, this is what it says on the sheet they gave me....
-------------------------------------------
Midland Golden Retiever Club in conjunction with Cranham Training Group presents The Jim Newby Memorial Working Test (KC approved)
blur blur blur......Sunday 22nd Feb 2009, 9.30 for prompt 10.00 start, Cranham Common, Glous.
Unclassified working test for special puppy, novice and intermediate.
Judges...etc etc
Entries £5 per dog or £6 on the day etc etc
Entries close on 14th Feb - no running orders will be sent out.
Also on the day will be Gun dog scurry £1 a go
Bale Jumping £1 a go
Dummy throwing competition £1 a go
Raffle prizes gratefully received. Light refreshment available throughout the day for donations.
And then inside it says a bit about what the classes mean and then:-
There will be four tests on the day. A mark, a double, a blind and a picking up exercise (What would that entail???)
--------------------------------------------------
And the person who I was chatting to said to me that I should bring my dog along as otherwise I might kick myself that I hadn't entered when I saw what the other dogs were doing. And the person who tested Zoz in the Grade 2 was there and sort of agreed (I think! )
So what now? Do I go and take Zorro along to let him see what we're aiming for and maybe give him a go in the scurry, or what?
Oh dear....just when I thought I was getting the hang of this gundog malarky
Helen- it would be lovely to meet up with you if you fancied a wander over. I can give you the phone number of the organiser if you want to see if you can enter Barnie (and Bert of course!!)

Becs thats fine, that fine! Sorry to have you type all that out, but its not the 'usual form' for a working test day' so good on them for being inventive and adding a few 'extras' like a scurry and so on to the day for a bit of club funds.
