Ok I'm a rubbish photographer. But these hots draw in a few threads including one about body condition at the end of the shooting season. I thought I'd post a few of Jade on a drive.....

... I completely agree a showbred dog has too much in the way of chest, depth and ribcage to ever look 'ribby' or 'truly' lean, but I would like to think noone could possibly think she looked anything other than 'fit for purpose' (nnnnnnnooooooooooooo! I used the bloody phrase!!!) Wink

I think those are very good pictures. Very Happy

That last shot shows that a bit more work is required though. I know it’s not an eliminating fault in Field Trials, but for a shoot dog, pub steadiness is an essential. Wink
