Awwwww Bert! What a superstar that dog is - I think my Zorro has learnt all there is to know about Gundog work from looking at 'Bert Threads'!
Can you imagine what would happen if Bert and Zorro went out to 'work' (in the very loosest sense of the word) together Helen? Wouldn't life be civilised? Plenty of time to get the barbeque set up and the coals at the right temperature and down a few glasses of wine before the dynamic duo returned with the pheasant! (and that would only be if the wind was in the right direction, the bird wasn't over the regulation weight and their horoscopes had pre-warned them that 'their diligence would reap the rewards'!)
Love Bert's Fan Club!

He is so cuddly-looking - like a big snuggly teddy bear. He is obviously a man who does things in his own time
