Flashmount Danny remained with Derrick for all of the 15 years of his life and is buried in the woods adjacent to Wisker Hollow just a field away from where he was born.

Derrick is not sure that the photograph featured is actually of Danny and will submit another for me to upload shortly.

I have had several people now compare Pepper to Flashmount Danny. Not only in looks and height but a lot of the traits that he has when working. I found a couple of photos. What do you think?

Does anyone know anymore about Danny? I know Derek Capel competed with him and I think he was known for his hard hunting and his jumping Rolling Eyes . I think he was a FTW but not a FtCh and he was sold abroad!

Flashmount Danny pictured as a young dog with his black buddies and also later in his life. The picture of the dog in you original post looks very like Ken Rawling's dog ****** Danny (sorry can't remember his affix)

Hi Linda(?)

Thanks for the information. It just goes to show how tales are told and get twisted in the telling!! Also if the picture is incorrect what happens when you google looking for a photo Shocked .

I know Ulverscroft well, having trained with Dave Probert for many years. Having been told several times now that my dog looks like Danny it would be wonderful to get a comparison from an authentic photo Very Happy .

Many thanks.

Lovely pics of Danny - thanks for posting Linda. I have one of Jill's pups who has Danny on both sides so it's nice to see the resemblence.

I don't suppose you have any pictures of FTCH Flashmount Socrates in his younger days you could post?

Thanks for putting those photos on Linda. Very Happy

I think I can see the resemblance in the younger Danny photo. As Neil says it would be really nice to see a photo of a younger Socs. I have seen the one on the website when he was getting on a bit.
