Could I just, as a breeder, say could you also suggest she returns the puppy to the breeder. I'm not saying *that* breeder is an ethical one, but they might be and I would be devestated if rescue called to say they had one of my 14 week olds in. Even more so if they DIDN'T call (as sadly some rescues won't) and I found out later and couldn't trace her.
Just maybe could you mention it, even just a line, even if they laugh because the breeder was rubbish and wouldn't consider it.
