Sarah the pheasant one is the size of a pheasants body, so yes a fair bit bigger than the partridge one but not too big in my opinion. Both Pepper and Boots cope with it well (Boots is only 8 months).

Sarah - I posted a pic earlier in this thread with Rowan holding a pheasant type.

It's a beauty of a photo.

I did see it just didnt realise it was a 'pheasant' as the colours are so similar.

There doesnt look a lot in it size wise then - thanks

My only criticism of them is that they are a little light as far as weight is concerned! As I said in my post previously they are great for young dogs because you don't have any of that holding the end and running back with the dummy dangling!!
Rolling Eyes am still trying to work out a way of making them heavier though. Anybody any ideas?

A bit light, I thought that would have helped with your throwing action Wink Wink Wink

But seriously, what about some lead weight from a fishing tackle shop.

You are right, of course, Ian for me its great because I can lob them quite a distance, but for the dogs I fear it may not replicate the weight of game!

See I always have to have something to worry about. Rolling Eyes

I am not quite sure how to attach the lead weight though Ian. I will have to experiment.
