How are you at throwing?
I am rubbish. A group of us who train together banned me from throwing, due to my throws going up trees, on heads and worse. One of the 'lads' came up with a briiliant idea. He aquired a catapult which fits on the wrist and fires a tennis ball. 'There now, ' He said. 'You can't go wrong with that' He looked so smug - not for long! Ping went the ball, then bong... it bounced off a tree and hit him in the eye and gave him a shiner!
I just been out with one of the dogs, the youngster on my own with a tennis racket and ball. I saw same friend of the black eye behind the hedge and he ducked and came along the hedge stooped. I waited for him, puzzled. He explained he saw the tennis racket and didn't fancy a black eye or missing teeth and reminded me of the catapult episode...
OOps.

Laughing Laughing At the catapult incident Laughing .

I throw like a girl...but not half as much as my Hubby does. Everyone ducks for cover if he's about to throw something, including the dogs. Laughing

I am rubbish too - especially when under pressure to throw a real good distance. They are the ones that go straight up in the air and hit me on the head Shocked Rolling Eyes .

'They' insist that I am the only person (woman) in the entire universe who can't throw. I can't tell you how stupid they make me feel - i am the only female in a pack of wolves and I am constantly having to proove myself. It is grest when i used to compete and beat the one of the rotters.
Still I can now tell then that other people do struggle to sling one ahead!
How do I get phots on here? My lot are so typically working strain I feel a little hesitant, but - hay ho I love them!

I have to admit my throwing is not good! Trouble is, neither is my memory! I was driving across a field last summer and decided a nice long blind was in order, so dropped a dummy out of the Landrover window, beside a clump of cowparsley. After driving on some way I stopped and got Amy out of the back. That was the point I looked back to try to identify a clump of cowparsley in what seemed like a field covered in cowparsley! Embarassed

Regards, John
