Now, I am certainly no David Bailey, and my husband is even worse as you can see from these pics! Taken with a little Panasonic Lumix - maybe we should invest in a digital SLR?

Alas they are the only ones we have of my favourite boy retrieving birds! We still have to work on how to hold the bird properly though as you can see! Wink

Those are great, particularly the last one.

I think proper bird holding comes with age and experience. Were those pics taken late in the day? I find sloppy retrieving comes with tiredness. I took some pics out with Rowan in the week, towards the end of the day and it looks like 20 different ways to hold a bird, apart from in the middle. Very Happy
