OK. I can possibly do from Coven, Wolverhampton to J1 of M6. that is just over a mile up from J19 of M1 and an easier place for transporters turning around but it would mean handover being in a layby. Is that a problem?
More questions...
When will this be?
I would need to arrange with my insurance company so what sort of extra cover do I need?
I have only one crate with no divider. Having met these 2 dogs I predict that transferring will need a military operation Very Happy Another pair of hands would be very useful on handover.
They are both big dogs and very boisterous.

ok i can meet at j1 m6 that's not a problem.......
i can bring someone with me for extra pair of hands.
i have slip leads and two crates in back of zafira....... one or both can be collapsed if this works better for these two.
also have two car harnesses so they can use seat belts if this is better.
wait to hear

Dawn, I think crates are a definite for these 2. The young black pup has had no training whatsoever and I think anything other than a crate may be dangerous. I could be wrong though.
My problem is I only have 1 x 42" crate and getting one out whilst keeping the other in could prove difficult, (that's if they would both be able to travel in one crate) they are both big strong dogs, but with a spare pair of hands transferring would be easier.
I do not posess any slip leads. My own dog wears a half choker, as she never pulls and other than that I only have a spare collar. I could possibly get something today.
Most of all I am concerned about these 2 big dogs being in one crate. Is this acceptable?
