oi whats with the spangle bashing. ive just watched edward martins spaniel master class series and to be honest they are far more intelligent than the one trick pony labs
Ahhhhh, but Trev, you forget - some of our labs aren't one trick ponies, they're dual purpose!
just remind me what the definition of a dual purpose lab is again as ive only met one in person and id hate to form judgement on just that one specimen
Secretly Ian, just between you and me, I’ve decided this Spaniel insurgency is more serious than I originally thought, so I’m keeping my head down for a bit, trying to win a few hearts and minds.
Actually I forgot, you’ve already crossed over, oh no!!

I don't think Paul Anderson is an official photographer, but he always seem to be in the line with his camera, and he's got one hell of a lens on that thing!!!!. This season was the first time for ages he has n't done the Springers as well, but apparently he has upset someone with his commentary, and was n't welcome there.
One difference at spaniel trials, and particularly the Champs, is that the Gallery do tend to get very close to the action, unlike the majority of retriever trials.
Paul does get some very good shots, but then again, it's easy when you are taking pictures of proper dogs
