If you give a new hard dummy a day in a bucket of water and a gentle pounding with a hammer you can age it in no time! I did it after my game bag and dummies was stolen out of my car and I wanted an "Old" soft dummy for a puppy.

Regards, John

Laughing Now John, I wish I had known that yesterday.

I opted for, if you poke a hole in a new dummy, empty out a load of sawdust shavings and re-secure with gaffer tape you can make it like an old (but slightly lighter) one in no time!

How outrageous that someone would steal your bag of dummies Shocked

They also stole my "Sky" tapes which were in the car, John Williams, Tristrum Fry, Herbie Flowers and Kevin Peak. Their rendering of Bach's Toccata and Fugue played at full volume had to be heard to be believed! Now gone forever! AND some Status Quo!

Regards, John

OK, so my tastes in music are a bit. . . . . . . . shall we say. . . . . . . odd?

Everything from Modest Mussorgsky (Night on a Bald Mountain and Pictures at an Exhibition) through to Tina Turner and the Quo! But Sky were special. A group of great classical musicians getting together to play rock. There was a TV broadcast of them some years back playing in (I believe) Westminster Abbey. It was something to see!
