I know a lot of you use them in training, but I’m becoming a bit of a fan. Out in the beech woods, in this part of the world, when thrown they burrow down in the drifts of beech leaves and give very testing retrieves. They seem to hold scent well and despite being obscured give the dog something to look for. This was out at the weekend ……

Excellent pictures as always John, love Honeys movement and expression.

Rowan reminds me of one of those Jack Russell Terrier garden ornaments you can buy, with just the rear end stuck in the air. Wink Wink
