I will attempt to take a group pic of Cas, Adder and Stan but it may take a few days! the wet weather doesn't help - dogs don't care but the photographer does!

To answer a couple of your questions, the dogs attention was focused on Jane, she had a tennis ball in her hand.
We quite often have them all sat together, and send them for retrieves one at a time, it's a really good steadiness exercise, although it can go very wrong from time to time!!! And it's usually the cockers that cause the chaos

It's very gratifying that people think our dogs look happy, we think they are. They work hard for us, and we like to think they are well cared for in return.
In terms of work, when we count up for this season, I think we will be very close to 100 days of either picking up, or out shooting.
Can't believe it's nearly done, does n't seem like 5 minutes since the Glorious Twelfth.
All shooting seasons pass quickly, but this one really seems to have flown! Being involved in a combination of shooting and dog work really makes the year seem to disappear at a rapid rate of knots.
I can't believe I've already had three sets of working test schedules through the post! Won't be long at all before the test season is upon us, the pheasants will be laying, and then all the rearing jobs start again!
