No problems Rachael, sadly "kennels" have an awful name fullstop. People think of them as dirty, dark, smelly, dogs staying in tiny sheds day in day out........and we are proud not to be like that!! That is why we are very different from any around here. There is so much I could write, but wont bore you with it all, I think our story is still on the website, but having had labs for 20 years we know how to handle pups in training!! And we are very lucky to have that experience.
Having Di's dogs was scary!!!! I use Deeds as a husband for some of my girls, and I know he is the bees knees, and it was a nail biting time to have him!!!! Expecially when she said he had a champ show when she got home, and I was so careful he didnt loose weight, but he threw his coat instead!!!!! I didnt brush him,or he would have been totally naked!!!
Hi Emma. Saw your OH today with your dogs - Rosie had a great time running around with them We considered people home boarding Rosie and actually did a couple of trial days with two. The trouble with this is if you are training you dog, not everyone continues with it and therefore undoes a lot of your hard work. We also found that their homes were not as 'puppy safe' as ours. Saw tracy's kennels. We were very impressed. Tracy is a lovely lady and you can see her genuine fondness and great knowledge of dogs. Rosie loved her brief visit and we have booked her in for her summer holidays. Lovely clean and spacious kennels with loads of land to romp! A far cry from other kennels we have used in the past. In my opinion well worth considering knowing that your dog will be in a safe environment with the care it deserves.
Tracy will certainly bear yours in mind. Tarka goes to a lovely one not too far from us. Staplecross would be a bit of a schleppp for me but worth it if I couldnt get him into his usual one and you had space. I had an idea Di was West Sussex, so you must be good if she travels all that way!!
Just coming back to say that I have looked at your website and it looks fabby. I do go over that way to stay with friends sometimes so will be in touch!

Oh Bless thanks Sue, and we are looking forward to having the lovely Rosie, and not letting her jump up!!! Dont worry we will keep up with the training.
Pat yes Di is in West Sussex, and yes its a long way, but we have the lovely Wylanbriar Clan stay with us, and we also have people coming from London, and a lot from Hertfordshire believe it or not.
We are very lucky to live right on the Kent and Sussex border so we get alot from Kent too.
You would be most welcome to come look around as would anyone anytime.
Hi, it can be a real worry choosing a kennel but it was a great day for Obi and I when we came across Tracy's via Labrador Forums. We were especially careful to find someone who could make allowances for him as he has two artifical hips (HD)
Obi went for a trial night and was fine. He has now been there several times and is always very happy to see Tracy when we arrive. I usually end up texting Tracy after a day or two to see if he is OK which he always is.
We have just been away for the weekend and picked him up tonight. Obi is his usual happy self. We definitely think the 60-75 minute drive from Brighton to be worth it.
When I get my laptop back (borrowing my mumns for the night only) I shall peruse your website in fact I am hiding in my bosses office tomorrow doing some project reading this could be part of my 'reading'
