well done for giving harvey a new home, i to would love to do that my husband said he dreads the day when he comes home from work and finds a house full of dogs, the trouble is down hear they are so strick (and so they should be) i no i could give another dog a good home,i work mainly night and my husband works days so they will hardly be on there own but they say thats unsuitable for a dog to be placed, don't no maybe in time.
How long would the dog be left for and what sort of age dog were you were looking for? There are plenty of rescues that will rehome to people who work. Some breed/general rescues will rehome as long as you're not leaving the dog more than around four hours, others will rehome adult dogs if you work during the day, provided you make arrangements (you/dog walker) to go home at lunchtimes.
there is always somebody in the house most of the time ryleigh comes with us to the cricket the only place she carnt come is shopping,i work nights my husband in the day the boys are older,we would consider any age, always wanted 2 or a (house full),i no i can give a good home ryleigh is still a pup so when is the best age for her ? sorry long winded, thanks michelle
There's a little bit of sorting out of the pecking order at the moment...Muzz is making sure Harvey knows who's in charge but to be honest I'm not sure which one will end up being top dog...I'm just pleased that Harvey is somewhere where everyone loves him....already!
Quick question....should Harvey be playing with Muzzy's toys? She seems fairly chilled about it but he's getting slightly possesive of things she has always played with on her own?...As usual all advice welcome

Let them get on with it, mine have a toy box full, but never bothered with them until Tara got her mitts on them, a few tifs and possession issues, but they deal with it a sensible canine way
