One of the great things about helping out at Furbabies is the boys and i get to look at and try new things that under normal circumstances we probably wouldn't
One of the things i simply couldn't live without is the Dog Hammock and another great thing i can now add to my list is a Nina Ottosson Dog Brick Interactive Toy.
I was wondering what to get the boys for Christmas that was slightly different from the norm and stumbled across her range of interactive toys. I thought hey why not and ordered a couple. We have the Dog Brick and Julie and Dave's Brad have the Dog Spinny.
Well the boys love it and so i thought i would share some information and pictures with you
Nina Ottosson’s range of durable interactive games have been designed to stimulate a dog’s brain whilst reinforcing his relationship with people.
Each design has a unique mechanism that requires mental as well as physical dexterity to work through the challenges and reveal hidden food rewards. They can be set to differing levels of complexity, to satisfy all ages and breeds of dog.
So whether you have a ‘Forrest Gump’ or an ‘Albert Einstein’, there is a Nina Ottosson game design to suit every dog!
Now i will be honest and say that i was a little sceptical that the durability verses cost as Bailey can be known to be a bit like a bull in a china shop on occasion and Fester can be lazy and just give up on stuff But as they both love their buster cubes i thought they showed enough enthusiasm to give this a go
Well what can i say, they both loved it.
Bailey had the game mastered within a minute or so realising what he had to do to get the treat (they do recommend that you make it very easy to start with to get your dog used to what they should be doing) and it really didn't take Bailey long at all
Fester did take a little longer to work out he had to nudge the white bones off (i did say he can be lazy at times ) and when he got the first bone off he thought that was the best thing ever and proceeded to pick it up and play with that - not realising there were treats underneath it That said he too got there in the end and mastered the moving parts to retrieve his sweeties
Both boys loved it and persevered until all sweeties were gone and then sat there patiently waiting for me to re fill it
I think it is a great game for the boys to make them think and work for their treats and they seemed to love having something different to do and on their recommendation i have now purchased some for sale at Furbabies
Well i shall stop waffling on now and just share the photos on them playing with their new toy with you and apologies now for the photo overload
I have the large size which is the only size we currently can't dispatch until February. As you can see both the boys can get on a large (one at 38 kilos one at 22 kilos) - they do have one each but they are also plenty big enough for a sleep over
3rd of February may be possible for dispatch on the large but i couldn't confirm for another 2/3 weeks on that
I couldn't get a video together - well didn't think of it actually anyway, Brad looks like he has that mastered too and from what you have shown me about the speed Brad eats his meals it certainly slows him down a bit too
Well Mary, they are not anti chew and i probably wouldn't leave CJ unattended with it.
The little white bones on the top are just a light thin plastic and i think given half a chance they can get trashed The rest of it though is quite sturdy - Bailey tried the aggressive approach and tried to dig them out at one point and it withstood it well
