Yes John it was just right. Although the guns had a bit of a moan because there was no wind at all, but then they always manage to find something to grumble about   .

Yes Jill, with no wind to balloon the birds up some were flying rather low, but I consoled the guns by pointing out that the next shoot is "Keepers Day" so birds they were not able to shoot at would still be around next time for the beaters. For some reason that did not seem to cheer them up!
