I also never had the privilege to meet beautiful Pudsey but like many, loved him through the forum and I am deeply saddened about him going to Rainbow Bridge. My thoughts are with you Denise and Phil...
I was one of the team that transported Pudsey from near me down to Den and Phil, he was so bemused poor lad when I collected him from the first relay, he then had a fun time once at the services to meet Den and Phil which belied how bad his hips were , Den will no doubt relate that story in her tribute to the wonderful boy who was Pudsey
Below is a pic of him in the back of my car on his way to Keele Services
I met him a couple of times after that and the change in him was amazing, he went from the timid and unsure boy I transported to the confident and happy boy he was with Den and Phil
Pudsey may have only had a very short life but it was filled with love and happiness
I never got to meet Puds, but I too felt I knew him through LF. He had a happy albeit short life despite his pain with a wonderful couple and could not have been loved more.
