Just wanted to say that I've only done one short-term foster, 3 nights, a lovely lab girl... I thought I'd be gutted when she went, but she went to such a fantastic home - with another lab, big garden with pond, totally dog ga-ga people, that I surprised myself and didn't blub when she went...
It was all a lovely experience. And then a few months later I bumped into her new 'dad' on a plane... small world...
I wouldn't hesitate to do it again...
